Water Cup Twirling

By the time you finish this page, you'll be able to twirl a full cup of water, upside down, over your head, without spilling a drop. If you dare.

1) Hold a cup of water in this position. Notice your fingers are pointing away from you to the right. Does it feel awkward? Good. That means you're doing it right.

2) Pray that I know what I'm talking about.

3) Now for the moment of truth... Keeping your arm straight and your fingers pointing to the right, swing the cup in a full circle over your head and back to where you started in a smooth, continuous, and fairly fast motion.

4) If Newton's laws of physics are still in effect, centrifugal force will keep the water in the cup. And you can keep your job.
